Trail Overview
Connecting Ogilby Road to Sidewinder Road to Picacho Wash trail, this graded, sandy road stretches 2.5 vehicle widths, providing generous room for navigation. Power lines overhead provide a reliable reference throughout the journey. The route heads toward Picacho Wilderness, and Pasadena Mountain dominates the eastern skyline. There is abundant flat, open space with dispersed camping. Many RVs take advantage of the accessible staging area. Coming from the west, you enter a limited-use area after mile 2.0, requiring vehicles to stick to trails, so watch for the signs marking that boundary transition.

Difficulty
This graded, sandy road is 2.5 vehicles wide, which makes it among the easiest routes in the region. It is practically a highway compared to the technical trails nearby. Perfect for RVs and larger rigs accessing dispersed camping without drama. Power lines provide a foolproof navigation reference. The main consideration is to respect the limited-use area boundary after mile 2.0 and stay on designated trails beyond that point. Any vehicle handles this comfortably.
