Trail Overview

This 3.5-mile point-to-point trail climbs over 600 feet and drops over 300 feet off Leland Meadow Road. Starting near Highway 108 and ending 1 mile down Leland Meadow Road, the dirt surface is 1.5 vehicles wide, running along a shallow shelf road through a pine forest. As you climb, you get some views of the adjacent mountains. There is evidence of a small previous forest fire along the route. Be sure to close the cattle gate behind you as you pass through. 4x4 is not necessarily required, but high clearance is recommended for this trail.

Difficulty

This trail runs along a shallow shelf road. A few sections of small shallow ruts, and there are lots of drainage humps to go over. Some ruts up to 18 inches. More ruts and off-camber sections at the beginning of the west section. High clearance is recommended.
