Devils Hole - FS 3N34D

Trail Overview

Devils Hole is an easy, flowy hardpack dirt trail with winding turns and opportunities for natural wall rides. Riders can expect a smooth route with a few shallow puddles, occasionally reaching ankle depth, but no major obstacles. Wildlife is common along the trail, so keep an eye out for snakes and lizards crossing the route. About halfway through, a large pullout offers expansive views of the surrounding mountain ranges and serves as a good rest or photo stop. The trail eventually descends to Deep Creek, where visitors will find a scenic creek crossing area and nearby hiking opportunities. For experienced riders, a black diamond dirt-bike-only trail branches off near the creek and allows passage across the water. Note: A "No Motor Vehicles" sign is posted near the bottom. The black diamond route is located just past the sign on the right side of the pond. Confirm current access and local regulations before entering.

Difficulty

Stock vehicles can make it through this trail. The terrain is easy going. Near the end, right after the open turnaround point, you will reach the descent that is closed to 2-wheel drive vehicles, so plan accordingly.
