Trail Overview

Road 506 is another road that has some really cool rock writing that people have left over the years, it is a cool area to check out as well as camp. It runs through Bureau Land Management, there are multiple camp spots to choose from. Be aware this area is prone to flooding, some sections of this road either drive in a wash or through one, please be careful in the rainy season. The road itself is a mixed surface of gravel, road, and sand, with some sections more rutted and washed out.
