Trail Overview
This rocky two-track is an out-and-back to the Eastern edge of the Yuma Test Range Boundary. Lined with Saguaro, Cholla, and Spinystar cacti, this track almost guarantees paint damage to your rig. You might see Ironwood trees, as well as Palo Verde and Mesquite as well. While this track looks pleasant and mellow, look out for the occasional sneaky rock in the short, steep, and off-camber wash crossings. Speaking of washes, another hazard on your trail might be erosion from the desert rains that pepper this area every year. You might here the rumblings (or far away explosions) of the military dialing in its firepower on the Yuma Test Range. The boundary is well marked, and crossing it is dangerous, so please adhere to all warning signs.
