Trail Overview

This backcountry loop provides impressive red rock formations as well as some cool Native American cliff dwellings. There are some camping spots along the way if you want to take a few days to explore the area. Take advantage of the unique side roads that allow unlicensed vehicles.

Difficulty

Moderate: Most of the loop is easy, but a couple of steep, rocky sections require a moderate rating. Most stock SUVs with high ground clearance can do it. Skid plates will help.
