Trail Overview

This road is not maintained in the winter. It is easy, two-car width with plenty of pull-offs. There are multiple camp spots, for big or small groups. It can be a busy area on the weekend. The road will be very muddy when wet, and falling trees are common. There is spotty cell phone service. Please do not drive in the meadow; stay on designated roads. If you are looking for a good area to camp off the freeway, this road is it.

Easy bumpy trail. Area is basically a huge campground. I would not recommend using this as an off road escapade as you’ll get stuck behind people with trailers. However as you move farther up it gets a little less busier. Will need to give way in some areas as it’s congested and narrow

Trail was pretty easy for the most part. There was a point when you get close to the lake where you have to cross through the water but wasn’t too bad. Most cars would be able to go through as long as you are okay with the water crossing
