Trail Overview

This scenic trail weaves its way up, over, through the Beaver Dam Mountain Wilderness. It's easy enough for most 2WD, although the trail is unmaintained after rain or winter conditions. One or two very small washes to cross. This trail leads past the Cedar Pocket Wash Trailhead as well as the Cedar Pocket Sinkhole. The sinkhole is pretty cool to see. Livestock are free-roaming in the area, so please use caution.

Beautiful back country road. Amazing colors in the rocks and interesting formations. Road was rough (rocky, washboardy, and bumpy) but I never went into 4WD. Washes have been eroded a bit but nothing extreme.

2024 Chevrolet Colorado

Trail was pretty deteriorated but still fun to take the family on. Remember to close the gates as you go thru them out there to help keep the cattle in the correct section.
