Trail Overview
This is a super easy graded washboard section of the Arizona Peace Trail. There are plenty of dispersed camping spots all along the trail and lakeside. Be sure to keep an eye out for "Day Use Only" Signs before you set up for the night. The area features bird watching, fishing, and water sports. The trail meets up with the main lake area and features even more camping. There is a large shaded ramada to eat lunch and a clean pit toilet nearby but not so close as to invade your lunch with foul smells. It's a great section of the trail as you get to ride right along the water and canal for most of the trail. 1 bar 5G service.
