Trail Overview

Just a simple proving grounds trail, like the one you learn to ride 4 wheeler or dirt bike on, the trail offers thrill if you seek it but has its ease about it. You can test new parts out or just hit it to get away for an hour. Flex your rig on the ruts, or get it dirty enough to show your colors via the mud pits and yet it's all on top of the bordering hillside next to town. Need a hike or a dose of nature? This trail leads you right to a conservation area where a fire tower once stood, or there is a conservation lake 1 minute from the trail entrance. This trail is not amongst a national or state forest but has a public plat line cut out for it, there is no gate until you get to the conservation land where the tower once was on the north end of the trail. There are several off-shoots and a fork in the trail that heads south, do not use these, they are all on private ground and should be treated as no-trespass zones.

Difficulty

A great place to learn how to ride a 4 wheeler or dirt bike or your first 4x4, when you just get enough courage to take it offroad for the first time. Learn to navigate small mud pits, and mild rutted hills, but if you choose to there is a few spots where you can choose the harder line and push your vehicles limits. With more wet conditions this trail's difficulty increases.
