Nicklen Lake

Trail Overview

Check out this scenic recreation site on Nicklen Lake accessed along the Goat Mountain Road. The road is a basic 2-track FSR with washboarding. It's a beautiful drive in the summer and winter. Be cautious of working logging trucks as they can't slow down fast enough to avoid hitting you. Use a radio and call out--RR-02 is the channel you want for Goat Mountain.

Difficulty

This trail is not really challenging. Be careful in winter as snow conditions can change quickly with the time of day and there are many downhill corners that can be slippery.
