Trail Overview
This segment is part of the Etoniah Creek State Forest trail system and serves as a useful connector within the larger network. The trail is generally one vehicle wide, with only infrequent places to pass. The surface is mostly soft, loose sand with some grassy sections, making it more demanding than the easier forest roads in the area. One extended loose sand area, approximately 150 to 200 yards long, increases the difficulty further. Four-wheel drive is highly recommended, and while high clearance is not strictly necessary in normal dry conditions, it is definitely an advantage. The trail passes marshy backcountry on one side and higher grass and forest on the other, giving it a remote Florida backwoods feel.

Difficulty
Rated Level 3 due to narrow, one-vehicle-wide travel, infrequent passing areas, and consistently soft, loose sand along much of the segment. While this trail does not feature major rock obstacles or ledges, the sandy surface can make traction and momentum more important than on the easier forest roads nearby. Four-wheel drive is recommended, and higher clearance is helpful, though not strictly necessary in normal dry conditions.
