The Branch - FS 180

Trail Overview

This Forest Service road has a nice drive to it. The surface of the road is mostly flat with typical potholes and washboard ruts from high usage. Only highway legal vehicles are allowed to travel this road. It's a nicely packed dirt road and has some great views of the surrounding valleys. There is a parking spot for a short hike down to Logan Falls. There are typical small stream runoffs coming off from the surrounding hills that have large boulders scattered along them. Accessibility: Like many forest roads, its condition can vary, and it is best to check the Allegheny National Forest Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM) for the latest information on its status.
