Trail Overview
This trail follows a well-maintained gravel forest service road winding deep through the Mark Twain National Forest. Along the route, you'll encounter a couple of small, shallow water crossings that are typically easy to navigate, though extra caution should be used during periods of heavy rain or flooding. The road remains wide and smooth for most of the journey, making for a relaxed drive through dense woodland scenery. At the end of the trail, you'll reach a dead-end access point along Little Piney Creek, where there is plenty of room to park, explore the creek, or set up camp for the night.
