Trail Overview

This National Forest Road leads up to the Boulder Ridge Trailhead. This trail was full of twists and turns and was unmaintained and quite overgrown. Guaranteed to leave pinstripes. It was dirt and gravel with some off-camber obstacles, deep ruts, and small water runoffs. We ran into one large F250 on our way down this single-track trail and had to do quite a bit of navigating in order to create a passing zone. The trailhead itself is quite basic, with a couple of grassed parking and one pull-around loop. This is an out-and-back trail. I ran this trail during the early fall and would say that it is likely to not be accessible during the winter, depending on total snowfall.

Difficulty

I give this trail a rating of 2 because while the large majority of the trail was easy forest service road, there were a few larger off camber obstacles that required a little navigation to get around. (sadly, I did not get a photo of this)
