Trail Overview
This class 4 Vermont road starts as a deceptively normal dirt road skirting the northern slope of The Dome. Eventually, the occasional house or trailer stops, and the challenge begins. A mostly rocky track rolls through wooded valleys cut by babbling streams and over hills strewn with blue and red quartzite boulders, among other interesting geology. Historic engineering is evidenced by culverts riveted together from short thick steel tubes.

Difficulty
Though seemingly innocuous at both ends of the trail, the center section is extremely rocky, with some boulders up to 18 inches. Some erosion control berms are extreme and may lead to grinding your undercarriage.
