Trail Overview

The trail starts on the south side of the highway and is primarily a pleasant and scenic dirt road. The trail then turns west into the mountain and becomes more rocky and technical. There are some ravines and rocky hills as you pass through the mountain and a steep short hill as you come down the small pass. The trail ends on a small hill that overlooks much of the five-mile pass rec area.

I followed this trail in the app because it was green - big mistake. This is a SXS trail or atv/dirt bike- definitely not a Jeep or larger trail.heading up from east side roughly 1/2 way i knew I was in the wrong area with my Jeep. 6-8 12”+ ledges and lots of loose rock w no room to turn around.at top very tight and either I could go back down the way I came up or down west side slope.west side slope was 2’ plus drops, loose rock, loose dirt. Had a few near tip over moments otw down. Once you get down 1000’ of trail it starts to level out back to avg type trail- rock and dusty . I can’t recommend this trail for anyone other than the hardcore driver/rider - hi risk of rollover down into canyons- I’d have to rate the top 1/2 of east and west sides extreme
