Trail Overview
Black Mountain road traverses Black Mountain starting near the South end of the mountain. The area is made up of mostly Sage Brush and Cedar trees. The views of Salina Canyon to the East and the Northern end of the Sevier Valley are great. Depending on both time of year and time of day the area can be great for viewing wildlife, mostly Mule Deer and Rocky Mountain Elk.

Difficulty
The road is unmaintained but wide enough to accomodate a full size vehicle. Although very rocky in places, it is still accessible to all vehicles. Dryer conditions are best for driving on this road.
