G19 - Sassafras Mountain is another getaway spot to relax for lunch and breath in the fresh air. This dead-end trail features loose gravel and two small ruts. One of the ruts is possible to get hung up on a medium-sized rock if your vehicle doesn't have ground clearance. Overall, G16 is a very relaxing trail, but can also be overgrown in some spots with the lack of vehicle travel.

The tree was pretty overgrown and resulted in some pinstripes. There was no view at the top due to full tree canopy. We wouldn’t recommend this trail.
