Trail Overview

This trail offers all aspects of what you want in an off-road trail. It guides you through some tight sections, as well as offering some open areas that are very scenic. There are mud holes, V notches, and small water crossings when it's wet, as well as some hill climbs and descents. This trail is a great option if you are in the area and is definitely worth the drive. A full-size 4x4 will fit here but could leave some pin striping in the summer.

Difficulty

Any high-clearance 4x4 would get through this when dry. Potentially big washouts after rain.Would recommend bringing a friend here to help spot you if you don't feel confident in your skill level.Mud holes have a hard bottom and are not very deep, probably under 1ft. A full size truck can fit here, but its tight. There is a Hillclimb (depending on where you start) that could be challenging if you are going up it with no lockers.

Trail looks like it’s recently had gravel added. You could easily run the “trail” in a 90s Toyota Corrola. Was scenic though but definitely a 1/10 difficultly

I ran this route as a cut through for work. There is only 1 (one), yes 1, obstacle which is about 1/10 of a mile from Log Pile road. This obstacle is a 5’ hill climb with shallow ruts at a 20 or 30 degree slope. I think 6/10 is a bit over zealous. The road was bone dry but there were no big holes that could get muddy as it was a dusty gravel road bed. I ran the entire trail as marked from 327 /clary /hutt/ log pile. Not disappointed just not sure why it’s 6/10
