Trail Overview
Middle is one of the easier single tracks in the Manzanita Mountain Trail System, without any big rock ledges. It just has sections of loose rock and embedded slab but no big obstacles. It still has some technical features like very tight turns through the pinyon pine trees and lots of curves. This one is also easier because it doesn't have any shelfy sections or exposure. There is one small log down, but it is very easy to get over or around. The nearest staging area to this trail is the Cedro Trailhead, and you can combine it with the Cedro trail for a bit more of a challenge.
