Trail Overview

This loop covers a very nice area, incorporating a couple of State Forest roads and ORV routes. It's a state gaming area, so keep that in mind while traveling through. You'll find a spot for bird watching, a dispersed camping area, and a couple of beautiful spots to stop along the way. The terrain is typically hard-packed sand with a couple of softer spots. Note: the camping at Backus Creek Park is only open from September 11th to May 15th of each year.
