Trail Overview
This rocky out and back passes under the train bridge and parallels the tracks with amazingly deep potholes. If you are lucky, a train will pass by and blow the horn for you! Once closer to the Snake river, the going gets slow, with large boulders hiding in the tall grasses. The trail's end has a nice flat area with an ancient rock fire ring that would be perfect for a few rigs to camp for the night. A short stroll from the camp spot is a lovely elevated view of the snake river as it rushes by below. There is little to no cell service down here.
