Trail Overview
This local road travels along the east side of the large, flat meadow just north of Robin's Roost on Hwy 20. There is a small lodge/restaurant that is a favorite hang-out for snowmobilers in the winter. It has limited hours in the summer but offers great food. There are beautiful meadows, old farm implements, and the occasional wildlife. At either end of the route, you can get back on the highway by heading west.
Difficulty
The road is gravel but, like many high mountain roads, there is the occasional larger rock that should be avoided by low riding vehicles. This road is easily traversed by most road worthy vehicles.
