Trail Overview

This route travels north through the Coeur d'Alene National Forest, just north of the Wolf Lodge area. It begins at Meyers Saddle and ends at Fernan Saddle, which is a large staging area with ample parking and a few intersecting trails. The road is a fairly easy climb and in decent shape. This is one of many "entrances" into the Coeur d'Alene national forest, and will lead you to a network of several other trails if you wish to venture further into the forest or combine a few trails into a loop route. This road is not maintained in winter.

Difficulty

Blue Creek Road is in decent shape although it is not plowed or maintained over winter. Some smaller ruts and wash outs exist, but any vehicle with moderate ground clearance should complete this trail with no issues.
