Trail Overview

This is an awesome route that takes you through some timber cuts and up and over some hills into weeds. The road is full of sun with some challenges along the way. Be aware that this route will go all the way through the weeds or to Mount Shasta City, depending on the route of travel.

Difficulty

Most of this ride would be a 2 or 3. The reason for the 5 is a couple of washout sections. Depending on your skill level and what you ride, they could be very challenging.

History

This is an old logging trail that was converted to a contingency line for fires that have gone through the area. Keep your eyes peeled for very old fire equipment.

Great trail, but as some others have said it turns into a rock field a bit further than halfway. Its clear that some rigs have made it past this, but without a lift, lockers, and probably 35s+ it would be a long and slow struggle. We decided to turn around as we didnt want to take the time.

After driving a little more than half way, you into a gatekeeper with nowhere to drive past that point. Dried up water channel with no paths to continue on. The drivable portion was beautiful and had a blast! *Note* this trail connects to Scenic Dill trail right next to it.

It trail has been blocked by a large rock wall that so you can’t go across the Greek.. really don’t know why it’s a 5 should be a 2. If your in the area go have a look but don’t go out ya way to get there.
