Rocky Road

Trail Overview

This is an awesome route that takes you through some timber cuts and up and over some hills into weeds. The road is full of sun with some challenges along the way. Be aware that this route will go all the way through the weeds or to Mount Shasta City, depending on the route of travel.

Difficulty

Most of this ride would be a 2 or 3. The reason for the 5 is a couple of washout sections. Depending on your skill level and what you ride, they could be very challenging.

History

This is an old logging trail that was converted to a contingency line for fires that have gone through the area. Keep your eyes peeled for very old fire equipment.
