Trail Overview

This trail is a short connector and gatekeeper to Del Sur Ridge 6N18. A couple of points feature nice views of surrounding canyons and chaparral. The trail is also quite steep in certain spots. Deep ruts and erosion give this trail a bit of difficulty, and high clearance is strongly recommended. To prevent damage, avoid this trail after moderate to heavy rainfall.

Difficulty

Most of this trail is easily drivable. Some sections feature deep ruts and mud, others are significantly eroded and off-camber. High clearance, 4WD, and good tires are strongly recommended. Airing down is not necessary but will make for a more comfortable ride.

Access Description

Coming from Santa Clarita, approach via Vasquez Canyon Road or Bouquet Canyon Road. The trailhead is on Bouquet Canyon Road. Look for the brown Forest Service route stake labeling the trail. There is no parking or staging at the trailhead.
