Trail Overview
This loose sandy out and back is a blast to cruise down. There are wide open sections with soft sand and narrow rockier short rock gardens. The route has some abrupt transitions with hills and drops and loose climbs. The trail gets narrow and will undoubtedly add some fresh Arizona pinstripes to your rig. Keep your eyes peeled for quail and deer being flushed from the dense bushes that line the side of the wash. If you're looking for a fun sandy blast, the Hoodoo wash system does not disappoint. Be aware that not all sections of this Wash link together and of any storms in the surrounding mountains that may cause flash flooding. A few bars of Verizon LTE service fade in and out along the trail. Steep hills and drops and loose climbs
