Trail Overview

This breathtaking coastal route spans approximately 10 miles alongside the Pacific Ocean and can be accessed by any type of vehicle. The trail varies in width, accommodating one to two vehicles at a time, depending on the section. Along this route, you'll find numerous splendid oceanfront spots suitable for secluded camping amidst the wild. As you journey between fishing camps, you might encounter Vigilantes or security personnel tasked with monitoring and preventing illegal fishing in the area. Despite their role, they are amiable and approachable towards tourists. If you speak Spanish or take the time to translate your questions, they will gladly provide answers and engage in friendly conversation.

The trail itself is not challenging, but it's important to be aware that there are no services available once you reach the coast. Despite the remote nature of the area, you can usually find residents in the fishing camps who might be able to offer assistance in case of any need.
