Trail Overview

This route leaves the campsite along the Batchewana River and continues along the banks until turning off to head towards the abandoned Tribag Mine. This route may not be passable to full-size rigs but will accommodate Broncos, 4Runners, Tacomas, GX460s, and similar vehicles. Use caution on the narrow banks and always walk it first to scope it out!

Difficulty

Early in this route, you must cross an uneven, narrow, and sandy ledge with water on both sides. Right after that, there's another sharp corner with a steep drop-off. The rest of the trail is likely a 3-4, but these two technical sections increase the difficulty. Some shallow water crossings and steep grades occur. It's not recommended for those towing overland/teardrop trailers.
