Trail Overview

This is a 3-mile out and back trail consisting of light gravel, dirt, and some two-track sections across small elevation changes, water spots, and sweeping turns. This small trail offers some fun spots as it takes you deep into the Allegheny National Forest. Along the route are some small turn-offs to more articulate areas, along with some rewarding views from the hillside where the town of Lewis Run is visible in the distance. At the end of the trail, you come to a massive rock that serves as a fantastic secluded campsite or area to have lunch. Doable in all 4 seasons, with each offering a unique experience under the canopy of the forest.

Difficulty

Gravel and dirt road, unmaintained after rain and snow. Small water crossings over collected areas of rainwater. It is suggested to air down as it can be bumpy depending on conditions.
