Some obstacles may be encountered, such as deadfall or washes. The trail is limited to registered motor vehicles only. Frequent wildlife can be viewed, including deer, bears, etc.

Difficulty

This is a deep and heavily rutted sand trail leading to the trailhead. The trail is loose sand with some patches of compact clay that can be very sticky after rain events. Washes, obstacles, and water may be encountered.

it just look like a normal dirt road to me. made it through in 2wd without any issues.

The entrance to the trail is off State Road 40 east of Silver Springs.
