Unit 162 regulates hunting opportunities for wildlife in Nevada and covers 1,949 square miles. Public lands comprise 1,931 square miles (100%) of the total land covered by this hunt unit. The greater region is best serviced by Hickison Summit, Manhattan, and Round Mountain. The elevation of the region ranges from a low of 5,400 feet to a high of 11,800 feet above sea level. There are 10 trailheads that provide public gateways to these forested and wilderness areas: Toiyabe National Forest, Rawhide Mountain Wilderness Study Area, Table Mountain Wilderness.
