Volunteer Trail Work Event: The Gateway Trails in Old Fort, NC
Join onX, Toyota, and G5 Trail Collective for a community-powered trail restoration project in Old Fort, North Carolina. Hikers, bikers, hunters, off-roaders, anglers, and climbers– join us! Together, we will restore sections of the popular Gateway Trails that sustained significant damage during Hurricane Helene.
The crews will clear trees, repair trail infrastructure, build retaining walls, back-fill areas with dirt, patch eroded sections of trail, clean out drainages, and restore trail tread durability. The day will offer a few work sites with varying levels of difficulty. Be prepared for a rewarding and impactful day of trail work in the Pisgah National Forest.
🔥Win a Chainsaw! Not only will you feel good giving back to our shared trails, but one in every ten attendees will take home a brand-new STIHL chainsaw from each Trail Revival Project!
