Trail Overview
This is a narrow forest road open to multiple vehicle types and is just wider than a typical 4x4. This road is most popular with ATV's and SxS's as a portion of the F11 trail navigates on and off of this trail. The scenery along this trail is dominated by dense mature forests. The trail is mostly flat, but there are some large elevation changes located around the trail. Sight lines on the trail are okay, but many corners are obscured by the trail side brush, as well as the dense forest. The trail is a hard packed dirt/ gravel mixture which has good traction, and does not allow for many mud holes or water spots to develop. Dispersed camping is allowed on this trail, and roughly 1/4 mile from the start of the trail there is a large sandy clearing that would make an excellent campsite. The cell service in this area is generally acceptable and is strong enough to load most maps, but can struggle when performing actions that require a larger amount of data. Traveling with downloaded maps is a great way to ensure that the area can be fully explored and the most enjoyment can be had.
Difficulty
This trail is easily navigable by all. The trail is narrow, but it has decent ditches that allow vehicles to pull over to let others pass at slow speeds. Sight lines on the trail are obscured by trail-side brush and the dense surrounding forest. The trail surface does not typically experience washouts or water spots.
