Trail Overview

Brady Lake Road navigates from its intersection with Fire Tower Lane to its intersection with North Shore Drive. This is a mild, gravel county forest road that navigates along the west side of Lake Lucerne. The trail surface is hard in most areas, and holds up well to traffic. Sections of the trail will transition from hard-packed gravel to hard-packed sand. After heavy rainfall, this sand can wash out, creating a couple of small water spots as well as soft spots in the trail. There are a few sections of the trail that are wide enough for two vehicles, but most of the trail is under two vehicles wide. This trail is open to multiple types of vehicles. The area that this trail navigates has lots of subtle elevation changes on the trail, but has some steeper changes around the trail. There are a few openings where this can be seen. The scenery around this trail is a mix of medium-sized hard and softwood trees with a fair amount of undergrowth present around the banks of the trail as well as in the surrounding forests. Several spots of this trail navigate through private property, so be sure to respect landowners. Cell service in this area can be spotty, especially in the summer months, when local towers are overwhelmed due to increased traffic in the area. There is a snowmobile trail that uses a portion of this trail in the winter months.
