Trail Overview
Prices Lake Road Extension is an easy, single-vehicle-width route that appears to continue directly from Prices Lake Road. A gate separates this trail from Prices Lake Road on the map. The route can be accessed from North Lake Cushman Road near Dow Creek, providing another way into the larger surrounding trail network. The trail follows mostly firm hardpack dirt and winds through dense forest before passing through portions of the powerline corridor. Potholes are scattered throughout, and some turns can sneak up quickly, particularly where patches of slick mud reduce traction. There are no significant technical obstacles, but riders should control their speed through blind and muddy corners. The transition from Price Lake Road feels like a natural continuation of the same road rather than a separate trail.
