Lava Creek Road

This is a full-width forest road with quite a few places to pull over and allow passage. There are good campsites throughout, a few really nice water features, and a bridge. Towards the end, there are some rain washes and ruts, but it’s pretty easily passable in a high clearance 4x4. This road leads to the Clear Fork hiking trailhead. In the spring, expect blowdowns and a little mud.
