Sign says KEEP OUT . Trail led to no access point. Not the easiest turn around area. Trail had some big rocks to come over. Low clearance.

It's relatively short out and back. We started from the south trailhead and headed north for about 1.1 miles, at which point we ran into the private property sign that marks the end of the public trail. It's fun little trail and there were several nice campsites. All the water crossings were relatively low - less than 1 ft. An inexperienced driver in a stock Jeep with no modifications would handle this fine.

There are lots of signs saying private property and a gate about halfway up the trail. The gate was open so I went through, but before long I could tell the trail had not been driven on in a long time. I started to back out and was met by a man with a holstered pistol on his hip who politely told me the trail is closed beyond the gate.

Coming up from the bottom. The tree has been cleaned up. Didn’t realize how short of a trail this is before you hit that bar. You’re really only able to do about 25% of the trail. This week has been dry so the creek was very low.

Tree down after the 2nd creek crossing, approximate 10-15% of the way in. Mostly the top of the tree that’s in the trail and a chainsaw would make light work if it. Reminder to myself to get a chainsaw. Otherwise conditions would have been good. Water level in the creek was average / low

Gate is closed about 3/4’s of a mile down the trail. Been like that for 10 plus years. People kept rooting up private property so one person ruined it for all lol. But definitely a good beginner trail. Make sure you do not go all the way to the gate, no turn around. You have to back out about 100 yards to the turn around. That was sketchy lol.

Started from the north / uphill / Crabtree falls side. Trail unfortunately has a gate about 25% of the way in. Based on other reports seems like coming in from the bottom is the way to experience it. Wish they would remove that gate. This is why public lands should stay public!

The trail is gated off about half way up. It’s a lot of fun for a beginner, it was just really short. Pretty rocky with a few creek crossings. A few of the creeks were probably about 3’ feet deep maybe. You can accomplish this trail with 4wheel and some clearance. It’s a lot of fun and beautiful.
