This well-maintained logging road provides an easy and enjoyable drive through beautiful forest before ending at the boundary of Sun Pass State Forest. Although the surface can be quite dusty during dry conditions, the road remains in excellent shape and is suitable for all permitted vehicles. Numerous pull-offs and dispersed camping opportunities can be found along the route, along with several large logging clearings where timber has been stacked or processed over the years. At one major junction, the road splits in several directions. To remain on this trail, keep left, as the other routes provide access to different parts of the forest.
