This user-maintained trail winds through a beautiful old logging forest on a sandy, dusty surface with a mixture of grey gravel in places, particularly toward the southern end. The route meanders through a broad valley with numerous remnants of historic logging activity, including clearings and side roads that branch throughout the area. One distinctive landmark is a large tree that has been cut to provide additional clearance while its exposed root ball remains standing beside the trail. The southern section contains several potholes, while the lower end of the trail unfortunately shows evidence of illegal dumping, including abandoned vehicles and household rubbish. Despite this, the surrounding forest remains attractive, with abundant birdlife making it an excellent area for birdwatching. Numerous spur trails provide opportunities for further exploration.
