Trail Overview
This trail is a beautiful, user-maintained route that winds through a scenic pine forest on a smooth, comfortable driving surface. Although it is not officially maintained, it is in excellent condition with very few obstacles to slow your progress. Any fallen trees along the route have already been cleared, making for an easy and enjoyable drive suitable for most capable vehicles. Several scenic campsites are located along the trail, providing excellent opportunities for dispersed camping in a peaceful forest setting. Numerous spur trails branch off the main route, offering additional opportunities for exploration, although these side trails are generally narrower and more suited to smaller off-road vehicles. The trail also serves as a useful connector to several other routes, including the main arterial trail farther north. Overall, this is a relaxing and highly scenic forest drive that combines easy travel with plenty of opportunities to explore the surrounding area.
