This trail is a beautiful user-maintained route that winds through a peaceful pine forest. The road is generally easy to drive but narrows in several places, where larger vehicles should expect some pinstriping from encroaching vegetation. A handful of spur trails branch off along the route, offering additional opportunities for exploration. Most fallen trees and larger branches have been cleared from the trail, although drivers should still watch for trimmed limbs and tree trunks that extend close to the roadway, particularly if driving a wider SUV or pickup. The trail is especially enjoyable for ATVs and SxSs thanks to its narrow, winding nature. During the summer months, expect dusty conditions, while the sandy surface can become slippery after rain. The route eventually reaches its mapped endpoint, where the road ahead is signed as Forest Service Road 764. Although evidence of previous vehicle travel is visible beyond this point, onX Maps currently identifies that continuation as closed. Users should respect the closure and remain on the open portion of the trail.
