Trail Overview
This trail is short, easy to drive, and full of scenic forest views, making it an enjoyable route despite its relatively short length. Although it is user-maintained rather than officially maintained, the trail presents very few driving challenges and is suitable for most capable vehicles. During the survey, several fallen trees had to be cleared, so it is recommended to carry an axe or chainsaw in case additional trees block the route. Camping is not available directly along the main trail, but several side trails provide large clearings suitable for dispersed camping. Near the end of the route, additional spur trails branch into a more technical trail network. One trail to the left, marked as FS 8312390, continues onward despite appearing as closed on mapping, so users should verify current access restrictions before proceeding. Overall, this is a beautiful, easy forest trail with excellent opportunities to explore nearby spur roads.
Difficulty
Difficulty is low, with the primary consideration being the potential for downed trees, so make sure to bring an axe or a chainsaw.
