This well-maintained red gravel trail provides a scenic connection to the main FS 7645 route. The area has been impacted by recent fires, but new vegetation growth is beginning to return throughout the landscape. The main section of the trail is easy to navigate, with several small pull-offs, potential camping areas, and side spurs available for exploration. As the trail climbs higher into the mountains, conditions change significantly. The route becomes narrow and overgrown, with extensive pinstriping, low branches, exposed rocks, and fallen trees requiring careful navigation. The upper section is best suited for smaller vehicles due to the tight trail conditions and limited maneuvering space. There are several camping opportunities and abundant wildlife, including deer throughout the area. The first portion is an enjoyable forest road, but conditions become much more challenging once the route begins climbing into the mountains.
