This trail is an enjoyable sandy route that travels through a former logging area surrounded by forest. Several open areas along the route provide potential dispersed camping opportunities, including one larger clearing that appears suitable for groups. Another large open area near the end of the trail may also provide a possible camping location. The road itself is well maintained and easy to follow, with a mostly sandy surface throughout. As of July 2026, a portion of the trail had been blocked, and the area was still showing signs of a recent fire with lingering smoke nearby. Despite this, the trail remains a scenic and enjoyable drive through a recovering forest landscape.
