Trail Overview
This connecting trail links two arterial routes, connecting one route to the other at the opposite end. For most of its length, the road is well-maintained gravel and relatively easy to travel. Some overhanging branches and trees are close to the roadway, but none create a major obstacle. Conditions change after you pass through a gate, where the road becomes noticeably rougher and less maintained. Beyond the gate, expect dips, ruts, loose rocks, and small hidden ditches that can catch you off guard if you’re not watching the road closely. The terrain is still manageable, but the sudden changes in the road surface mean you’ll want to slow down and pay attention to your line. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid Oregon ATV Operating Permit sticker.
Difficulty
Rougher gravel, ruts, and concealed ditches provide the main obstacles on the latter portion of the trail.
