Trail Overview
This narrow, sandy trail connects two well-maintained roads and provides a scenic route through a beautiful forest setting. Although it begins relatively easily, drivers approaching from the western end will encounter a more challenging section where the loose, crumbly sand can make maintaining vehicle control more difficult. The trail is generally manageable for ATVs and SxSs, but larger 4x4s may have more difficulty navigating the soft sand, particularly if momentum is lost. Please drive carefully and watch both sides of your vehicle to avoid damage to bodywork or tires from hidden stumps, low branches, protruding tree limbs, and other vegetation. Overall, this is a beautiful forest trail with a few technical sandy sections that add to the driving experience. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid Oregon ATV Operating Permit sticker.
Difficulty
This trail may cause pinstriping on larger vehicles, so it is important to watch for tree limbs in the trail. The trail becomes more challenging on the western end, where deep sand can make maintaining traction difficult.
