Trail Overview
This unmaintained trail is part of the Green Dot route system, meaning it is open to permitted off-road vehicles year-round. The route is relatively narrow, and wider vehicles should expect some pinstriping as branches and vegetation encroach along the trail. Although many fallen trees have been cut and cleared, several trimmed trunks and broken branches still protrude into the driving line, so careful vehicle placement is recommended to avoid scratches or tire damage. The surface is predominantly dusty with sections of soft, powdery sand that can become loose in dry conditions. There are a few clearings that may be suitable for dispersed camping where permitted. However, campsites close to the main trail may be less desirable due to passing traffic and the dust generated by other vehicles. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid Oregon ATV Operating Permit sticker.
