Trail Overview
This maintained forest road is a short but enjoyable connector that provides access to a larger network of well-maintained trails. The route follows a predominantly sandy surface and is easy to navigate, making it suitable for a wide range of high-clearance vehicles. Although it appears to receive less traffic than some of the surrounding roads, the trail remains in good condition and is simple to follow. The road winds through peaceful forest with gentle curves and a quiet backcountry feel, making it a pleasant drive despite its short length. Pull-off opportunities are limited, so drivers should plan accordingly. During wet weather, the sandy surface can become thick, muddy, and much more difficult to traverse, particularly for heavier vehicles. In dry conditions, however, the trail provides an easy and scenic drive while serving as a useful link between other routes in the area. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid Oregon ATV Operating Permit sticker.
